Dances in the wind - Look 1

These images are a coalescence of elements from the Dravidian heritage in an effort to portray the divine feminine personified as a goddess, embodying the dichotomy of sensuality and spiritual power. In this series, I seek to revive the reverence and awe that once characterised her worship and aim to restore the balance of feminine energy, long suppressed by the Mughal and European invasion of our country in the middle ages and to re-sanctify the cycles of life that have been desecrated in the name of post modernism.
